Princess Yachts, the UK’s leading luxury yacht manufacturer, is launching two exciting new yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival that reinforce the British brand’s focus on elegant and beautiful design, and attention to detail across its core F Class and S Class ranges.
The new F50 flybridge and S66 sportbridge (together with the S62 which will be launched at Southampton International Boat Show) complete the total overhaul of Princess’s F Class and S Class ranges. In just two years these core classes have been re-designed and launched at the heart of Princess’s fleet. The F50 joins the F45, F55, F62 and F70, whilst the S66 sits between the S62 and S78, with this exciting line-up reinforcing the focus that Princess places on its traditional customer base and global reputation for design and quality of craftmanship.
Antony Sheriff, Executive Chairman, Princess Yachts, said: “As with all the world’s leading luxury brands, design is absolutely critical to our desirability and therefore success. Our focus on design has not so much been around producing outrageous concepts and boats that break the mould – though we have done that in a couple of cases – but rather there has been an absolutely intensive focus on design quality, elegance and surfacing in how our yachts look and feel.
“The F50 flybridge and S66 sportbridge yachts define that elegance, beauty and innovative use of space for which Princess design is recognised. Our art is represented by careful attention to detail which makes very complex things seem simple, fluid and fluent, whilst our technology delivers greater use of space and improved on-water dynamics and efficiencies.”
At the heart of the F50 and S66 launches sits the Princess Design Studio who worked closely with partners including the renowned naval architects Olesinski. The results are ultra-contemporary designs evocative of the beautiful yachts of the past with fluid and flowing lines and elegant, sculptural surfaces. The F50 and S66 reflect Princess’s vision for sophisticated yet pure design language. As a result, the F50 and S66 hull designs deliver world-class standards of sea keeping and create the structure to support innovative use of space that generates class-leading
accommodation above and below deck.

F50: The brand-new F50 flybridge from Princess Yachts completes the rapid and dramatic overhaul of the F Class range that combines classic Princess flybridge qualities of innovative use of space, supreme focus on quality of design and manufacture, and superb performance and sea keeping.
Princess Design Studio and Olesinski ensured the F50 delivers technical innovations that make her feel as spacious above deck as below. Sporting a full-beam owner’s stateroom, elegant hull-length windows and luxurious materials, the F50 offers class-leading space.
The efficient twin Volvo D8-IPS 800 (2 x 600 mhp) engines combine with Princess’s unique resin-infused deep-V hull for a top speed of up to 36 knots.

S66: The launch of the S66 completes a thorough revamp of the S Class range in the space of just 18 months. The S66 replaces the S65 in the middle of the S Class sportbridge range, where she joins the S78 and the new S62 that will be debuted at the Southampton International Boat Show.
The S66’s sporting credentials are underlined by a lightweight deep-V hull coupled with the latest MAN V12-1400 engines to deliver 38 knots. Princess Design Studio’s new design language is evidenced by the sweeping panoramic glazing sections on both the hull and superstructure.
Designed for an alfresco lifestyle, the S66 offers generously appointed deck areas, which include a spacious foredeck seating area, whilst her hydraulic bathing platform and 3.3m tender garage become the perfect base for water sports.
