NEEL Trimarans has unveiled its highly anticipated new compact trimaran, the NEEL 43. The Lombard-designed addition to the range makes extensive use of bio-sourced and recyclable materials.
More compact than her big sisters, the NEEL 47, 51 and 65, the new 43 will still have a high freeboard and a similar pod design.
Constructed from vacuum-infused composite sandwich, using PVC and PET foams with carbon-fibre reinforcement, the resins and gelcoats used address limiting styrene emissions, which is part of the shipyard’s commitment to eco-friendly cruising through the use of bio-sourced and recyclable materials.
Designed to deliver exhilarating speed, but easily handled by a small crew, the NEEL 43 carefully balances weight reduction with adequate load capacity to cater for extended passage making.
Accommodation onboard includes two double cabins with the master stateroom on the main deck featuring outstanding privacy and a breathtaking panoramic view. The double cabin at the front of the central hull is accessible from the saloon.
The saloon, incorporating the galley and navigation table, is entirely open plan and a highly ergonomic living space.
The new NEEL 43 will be launched in April 2021.
