Maritimo is geared up for a tremendous 2021. Building on its successful 2020, the award-winning Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer is launching new models, introducing new designs, and continuing to upgrade its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and grow its workforce.

Of course, the knowledgeable yachting enthusiasts of the U.S. market are a key focus for Maritimo, and plans are in place for American boaters to get on board the yachts and gain a better understanding of what sets Maritimo apart.

What Boaters in North America Can Expect from Maritimo in 2021:
• Expand knowledge of the current line and future projects at the Palm Beach International Boat
Show, March 25-28, 2021.
• New models: The M55 and S55 are coming to U.S. shores late this summer.
• Yachts on Display at The Palm Beach International Boat Show: X50 and X60

Palm Beach International Boat Show
American boaters attending the Palm Beach International Boat Show will get to see some groundbreaking
yachts and get insight into the company’s exciting future. Maritimo will have factory
representatives on hand to discuss the builder’s designs and show off recent models. The staff at the
show will offer insider knowledge into the yachts because they are experienced cruisers who are
valued members of the Maritimo product-development team, sharing insights into the way yachtsmen
use their boats, and also what goes into the manufacture of a Maritimo motor yacht. Their depth of
knowledge on all things Maritimo is unsurpassed.
“We’re always excited to share Maritimo’s world-class yachts with our current and future customers,”
says Dave Northrop, Director of Maritimo Americas. “Enthusiasts who understand quality construction
and excellent design are surely our best customers, and we enjoy taking the time to share our models
and also show them what’s just over the horizon.”
Maritimo models appeal to seasoned long-range cruisers, and the technology and ocean-proven
construction set these yachts apart. Maritimo builds exclusively around direct shaft-drive engineering,
and has the technology dialed in for efficiency and balance that other propulsion systems cannot
match. The Australian manufacturer is a recognized world leader in shaft-drive propulsion systems.
The resulting stability and performance make the boats a comfortable platform for extended and
economical cruising. Meanwhile, the designs are sure to appeal to every member of a cruising family,
with open deck areas designed to heighten the sensation of being on the water, while interior spaces
are laid out to optimize gatherings of family and friends. The accommodations make the most of hull
volume in free-flowing, serene spaces that inspire relaxation.
Maritimo will show three boats at Palm Beach, and will highlight the X-Series models that have
reinvented the sport yacht. The X50 and X60 both changed the game by reimagining the concept within
the proven parameters of Maritimo’s exceptional engineering and groundbreaking design. The eyecatching
aft accommodation only hints at the possibilities in performance and comfort, with options
to suit virtually any cruising application.

New Models in U.S. Summer of 2021
The first highlight of the planned new model world releases in the first half of 2021 will be the unveiling
of the highly anticipated M55 flybridge motor yacht which has already enjoyed worldwide sales
success. The M55 will be the star attraction at Maritimo’s on water display at the Sanctuary Cove
International Boat Show on Australia’s Gold Coast in May, and with a U.S debut in the summer of 2021.
Also highlighted at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will be the world premiere of the S55
sedan motor yacht, which along with the M55 will debut on U.S. shores later this summer.
“This year will mark a momentous year for Maritimo, with as many as eight new model releases or
announcements,” said Brand & Design Director, Tom Barry-Cotter. “The extensive new model roll-out
has been in development behind the scenes since the beginning of last year, so we are beyond excited
to announce each new model over the coming months.”
