The new Dehler 46 SQ stands out with a new decor and lighting concept, an intelligent interior layout, as well as high-performance upgrades to the rig and cockpit. The 46 SQ combines pure sailing and comfort in a class of its own.
The new model’s cockpit is more streamlined, and the deck has a more modern look. The bowsprit with bobstay and integrated anchor arm offers a forward tack point for a gennaker or Code 0. With the safe, easy to handle Facnor Flatdeck furling system, the drum is significantly lower, allowing for longer luff and larger sail areas.
Another feature is the flying staysail, which allows the headsail to be reduced safely and without shifting the centre of effort. In combination with the second reef in the mainsail, it makes for a fine rig for storm conditions.
Further performance comes from the Competition keel and rudder, taller carbon mast and Quantum sails.
Below deck, the hull windows are larger and two additional windows have been let into the coachroof. New work surface colours and the updated lounge area complete a much brighter saloon, which can be configured in four different layouts.
The Dehler 46 SQ will premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 6-11 September 2022.
