The MCGA model features sequential multiport electronic fuel injection (MPI), for optimum fuel efficiency, easy starting, improved reliability and reduced emissions.
Electronic speed control maintains the engine at a constant speed and virtually eliminates ‘bogging down’ when load is applied. A watercooled return-less fuel system aids in the prevention of vapour lock for improved performance at high ambient temperatures.
The 5.0 MCGA features a compact, heavy-duty three-cylinder industrial engine for smooth operation at 1800rpm (60Hz) or 1500rpm (50Hz).
Safety warnings and shut-downs include over-speed, low oil pressure and high exhaust and coolant temperatures. Options include two available exhaust outlet orientations, remote start-stop controls, remote lube oil filter, spare parts kits and an auxiliary relay harness kit to draw DC power from the generator set.
