Written by

Electronic Navigation Ltd (ENL) has announced the appointment of Richard Bowe as Head of Sales & Marketing for ENL Group.

The role is a newly-created position and will see Richard overseeing ENL’s domestic and commercial markets of Furuno in New Zealand, while also managing WASSP’s international sales and marketing strategy for their multibeam sounder products.

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Richard previously worked for 23 years with Fisher & Paykel Appliances (F&P) the iconic New Zealand technology and electronics company.

During his career Richard has held senior international management roles in leading organisations such as F&P / Newell Brands and ACCO Brands, across New Zealand, Australia, USA, and the UK markets.

ENL’s Managing Director, Gareth Hodson, says Richard’s appointment will further strengthen ENL’s domestic position in the New Zealand market as continuing to further establish them as the international leader in multibeam sonar technology with its product WASSP.

Furuno has a large presence in New Zealand and the South Pacific, with ENL being the exclusive distributor, providing sales and support to both the recreational market and commercial fishing industries.
