A Basic Boat Trailer Maintenance Service Includes
- Inspect structural integrity of frame, welding, stress points and rust
- Inspect & grease wheel bearings and bearing buddies
- Check lights, light board, and pin coupler
- Check safety chain, shackle, tow coupler
- Check brakes and pads (if fitted)
- Check tyre pressure and overall condition
- Inspect jockey wheel (grease if required)
- Lubricate and re-tension wheel nuts to the correct torque specifications
- Check springs, suspension bushes, bolts & nuts
- Check and lubricate wobble/keel rollers, brackets, and split pins as necessary (boat trailer)
- Check winch drum, winch strap and lubricate gears (boat trailer)
- Checking WOF & Reg are current & displayed (does not include renewing)
We recommend trailers are serviced every 12 months.
