Absolute 48 Coupe for NZ
YACHTFINDERS GLOBAL the New Zealand distributor for luxury Italian yacht manufacturer Absolute, has confirmed an early 2023 delivery date for the first Absolute 48 Coupe into New Zealand.
The latest model, which debuted at the recent Cannes boat show, heralds a new range dedicated to sporty performance and total luxury. The 'Green Coupe Range' compliments the successful 'Flybridge' and 'Navetta' ranges.
Absolute is one of only two truly modern production boatyards in Italy. Dedicated to environmental sustainability, the modern 48,000m2 factory is designed to reduce impacts on the environment and the boat construction follows eco-sustainable principles.

ABSOLUTE YACHTS PRESENTS 56 FLY
The result of engineering innovation, Italian design and a passion for details, the latest project by the Piacenza-based shipyard is called 56 FLY – The Absolute Charisma.
Featuring a strong, confident personality, 56 FLY was created to be noticed and to fascinate boat owners with a proven mix of comfort and fine design, but also innovation, functionality and on-board convenience.
"Charisma" encapsulates the essence of Absolute’s new craft, which brings together and builds on the most successful features of previous boats. With 56 FLY, Absolute has undertaken intense R&D work to enhance those hallmarks, including the revolution of the Flybridge Generation 2022 that began with 60 FLY - a new construction approach developed to ensure freedom of movement, ultimate versatility and liveability.
Along with a relaxing bow area with sun loungers and sofa, the outer aft areas are free of fixed elements, so they can be easily furnished as desired. To meet all needs, Absolute provides modular, versatile décor solutions for the entire range.
The visual boundaries between the boat and the sea vanish thanks to a transparent parapet in the cockpit, the open gunwales and the large windows with electric winder in the lounge area.
The magnetic personality of 56 FLY is also expressed in its interiors, featuring comfortable, modern spaces, inspired by Absolute’s signature focus on ease of use.
Liveability culminates in a full beam owner's cabin at the bow, designed to provide ultimate privacy and comfort, but also an outstanding view through panoramic windows; its interiors are embellished with sophisticated design, transparent details between cabin and bathroom and textural contrasts. As spacious as a second owner's cabin, the VIP cabin is also full beam. The sleeping area is completed by a third full-feature cabin with single beds, complete with every comfort and with the same ceiling height as the other cabins.
Freedom of movement is the common thread throughout the interiors, connected by sliding doors and enhanced by surprisingly large windows for breath-taking morning views, with plenty of natural light flooding into the cabins.
There are numerous stowage areas to improve comfort in the sleeping area as in the living area, which also features a contemporary kitchen.
Absolute 60 FLY
The new Absolute 60 FLY, called “The Absolute Prisma”, boasts design elements such as the owner’s quarter at the bow and an aft cockpit terrace free from any fixed furniture elements.
The owner’s quarter concept features a cabin which takes up the full beam of the boat – unprecedented on a 60-70-foot yacht. The cabin is raised from the lower deck, the ceiling is high, and the array of textures and colours chosen for the interior design will satisfy all tastes.
The boat’s exterior lines are now enriched by glazed balustrades that offer views from both the flybridge and the cockpit: the latter can be furnished to the owner’s taste for the first time.
From the aft cockpit, staircases lead down to the wide swim platform and pantograph transom door into the crew cabin. On the upper deck, the FLY area offers a second open-air saloon with an al-fresco galley and dining area, lounge space and a high-tech helm station. Even the bow area is designed for maximum versatility, sporting a comfortable sofa, a table, a sunbathing area and music.
The Absolute 60 FLY boasts the latest generation technology. Helm stations on the main deck and flybridge both have double piloting seats and both helms offer unobstructed views of the horizon.
Various configurations of the Absolute 60 FLY’s modular furniture are available to fully enjoy the on-board life. Optional solar panels on the hardtop to ensure a lower environmental impact and silence at anchor.

Navetta 64 'Best for Travel'
The Absolute Navetta 64, appropriately known as “The Absolute Pathfinder”, has won the Best for Travel Award at the prestigious Best of Boats 2020 Awards in Berlin on November 19.
The awards, which were founded in 2014, are designed to identify the best motoryachts of the year. They are competed for in five categories: Best for Beginners, Best for Family, Best for Fun, Best for Fishing and Best for Travel and are judged by 18 highly respected and experienced international marine journalists from top publishing houses.
In announcing the Absolute Navetta 64 as the 2020 winner of the Best of Boats: Best for Travel Award, the judges were full of praise for its unique design:
"It’s one of the biggest 60-footers ever seen. Actually, it is 64’5”, so the space on board is enormous, open and bright. Adding to the incredible master cabin the new Navetta has a beach club on the aft. It’s something special."
The Navetta 64 features, which is distributed in New Zealand by Yachtfinders Global, features a pair of powerful yet economical Volvo D13 diesels married to IPS1350 drives.

With wide, uninterrupted glass side windows, large bow windows, open side gunwales in the cockpit and a huge Beach Club transom, the Navetta 64 provides all-round panoramic views and unrivalled feelings of closeness-to-the-water.
In main saloon’s frameless glass side windows and 3m-plus curved and frameless windscreen create a light and airy space with stunning views. Comfortable sofas, a large dining table, an ultra-modern entertainment centre and a fully equipped galley opening onto the cockpit distinguish the space.
One of the Navetta 64’s most popular features is its Beach Club, a huge aft platform that gives access to the sea and to a VIP cabin, complete with en suite, via a watertight glazed access door at water level.
A pair of Volvo D13 diesels married to IPS1350 drives allows the Navetta 64 to cruise economically at 19 knots using just 12.5l/nm. Top speed is around 27 knots.
