Freedom Boat Club launches into Auckland

Freedom Boat Club is expanding into New Zealand. The world’s largest boat club operator will have locations in Auckland, Christchurch, and Queenstown. The club operates a subscription-based model, offering members unlimited access to a fleet of Sea Ray and Rayglass boats powered by Mercury Marine engines. Membership includes boat storage, maintenance, insurance, and training from certified captains.

With over 400 locations worldwide and nearly 100,000 members, Freedom Boat Club provides reciprocal access to boats at all its locations. The New Zealand franchise is owned by Scott Williamson, a marine industry expert whose family has operated Sports Marine for over 45 years.

The first New Zealand club will open at Auckland’s Westhaven Marina this month providing easy access to destinations like Waiheke Island and the Coromandel Peninsula, and we eagerly anticipate Freedom Boat Club’s launch held this Thursday (20th of February).

Freedom Boat Club welcome anyone who would like to attend this family-orientated event. You will be able to explore their fleet, meet the team, and discover how Freedom Boat Club makes boating easier, more affordable, and hassle-free. The advantage of a Freedom Boat Club membership, is that irrelevant of whether you’re a seasoned boater or new to the water, a membership plan will give you unlimited access to top-quality boats without costs and headaches of ownership.
