The new Dazcat 1895 blends an ultra-lightweight, thoroughbred cruising and racing catamaran with lavish contemporary interiors and creature comforts.

This new design is the latest collaboration between Dazcat and Ben Rogerson Yacht Design (BRYD), a new 60-foot class racer-cruiser with the perfect pedigree for the Caribbean circuit, RORC offshore and performance world cruising.

Carbon/glass hybrid and foam core composite construction uses the latest infusion technology to create the best possible stiffness to weight ratio and the racing-spec rig has an all-carbon mast and boom, with hay racks and carbon sails.

The Dazcat 1895 is optimised for shorthanded or fully crewed sailing with powered rewind winches, online drivers for easy daggerboard deployment and twin wheel, direct carbon-drive steering.

Dazcat options include a sports cruiser with a large U-shaped seating area and table converting to a day bed,  a lower galley in the port hull, a double berth and sail stowage area forward in the port hull and a skipper/crew cabin with two single berths and adjoining heads and shower aft.

The starboard hull features a nav station with a navigator bench/day bed, a spacious owners’ cabin with ensuite aft  and a twin bunk room for guests with its own heads and sail locker.
