Haines Hunter has unveiled its new 635 model, available in hard top (SS635) and soft top (SF635) configurations.

With a LOA of 6.76m, the vessel carries the brand’s legendary 21o deep-vee in an all-new hull design.  Haines Hunter CEO Denis Kendall says the boat’s evolved from demand and feedback from dealers and customers.

The boat features a moulded composite structural floor that’s bonded to the hull, creating watertight chambers for reserve buoyancy. Decks and bulkheads use a foam core sandwiched between an inner and outer skin. This technique reduces weight and improves fuel economy.

The team has worked tirelessly at every stage of the project to ensure the hull design, mould construction and fit-out are millimetre-perfect.

Haines Hunter invested heavily in the tooling for these new boats to ensure high quality fit and finish, as well as durability. State-of-the-art tooling results in a 100% clean, flawless hull when it comes out of the mould.

Construction of the first boats is well advanced.

Internal layout options allow owners to specify the popular back-to-back seats. A new-look dash accommodates 12” electronic displays. With 195-litre underfloor fuel tank, the hull’s rated for outboards from 150hp-200hp.

The new SS635 hardtop is one of the best proportioned hardtops around for its size. The new model features several clever innovations, including sliding windows that recess into the pillar that supports the roof, allowing for a bigger side window opening.

Haines Hunter’s new SF635 and SS635 will be released at the Auckland Boat Show, 8-11th October.
